The Shadow Druids used to use these wells to aid in the decay of dieing plants and animals so their life essence would return back to the The Heart of the Wild. No the essense of the well is slowly bleeding out into The Heart of the Wild turning it into a blight forest. Tanulia Nexus when taking over the Shadow Druids she harvested an abuntant amount of this necrotic essense and created the Blight Forest after the fall of the Kingdom of Hartlepool and the creations of Ruins of Hartlepool.Effects On Items
It is not known to the extent of what the necrotic well could do. Some say it can be used as a vessel to make weapons sentient with life. It would be from one of the souls not yet passed on to the afterlife.Purpose / Function
This well was designed to help control the life and death magics of Necromancy. A special well cassing was designed by Iken "Cobalt Master" Rhineforrel to house all the Necromancy Well essence from spilling out and corupting The Heart of the Wild. Historically the Shadow Druids from the now Ruins of Hartlepool used the well for rituals in accordance to Shar.
Alterations
In the year 1225 Iken "Cobalt Master" Rhineforrel with the help of the Grand Master Wizard Council put a protective well made of Cobalt and white marble to make a magical encasement.
History
The essence of this well has been arround from the creation of the Continent of Renstrom in 1225 it was encased in a protective well. in 2528, Ryo "Kardun" Nexus and member of Silver Shadow Clan, tried to empower this well. This was done by adding extracts from the wells of transmutation, conjugation, and enchantment; empowering it with the magics of the aforementioned schools. This was the first step in a ritual to turn Felgos into a Dracolich. However, Ryo "Kardun" Nexus never was able to create his beloved Dracolich. After some time the Vengful Misfits couldn't find the entrance to the well. They left the Ruins of Hartlepool and the well to prevent other forms of destruction on the Continent of Renstrom. Some time after that the Talons where able to make it to the well and prevented a drow take of the well. After this they where aided by Mystra and the Djinn Lord Vibian in casting the wish spells needed to seal away the Wells of Eternity and provide Platinum Siberan as a guardian.
