Highhaven

The wealthy of Brineven can be found in the district of Highhaven. Just below Palace Hill, Highhaven occupies the northern part of the city between Palace Hill and Brinhenge Park.
The Estates is the westernmost neighborhood and contains the manor houses of many of the nobility if the grand duchy. Businesses in the estates tend to cater to the wealthy and the nobility, many of whom are members of Galdan's, an exclusive private club.
Central Highhaven is known as Roundhall and is anchored by the Greyleith Theater, one of the oldest theaters in Brineven. Here many of the most famed playwrights of Old Arvanor got their start. Over the years, the Greyleith has been magically reinforced and enchanted to such an extent that most Brins laughingly remark that the Greyleith will outlast the Palace if ever a disaster were to strike the city. To the east of the Greyleith is the esteemed Mac-Fuirmidh College one of the seven famed bardic colleges of the Old Empire.
The neighborhood of Dwurton encompases part of southern Highhaven and a piece of northern Central Exchange. Named for an old word for dwarf, Dwurton is home to a majority of the dwarven population of the city.
Those looking for accommodations in Highhaven have few choices. The Glimmering Gate Inn is located just inside the Brineven Northgate. It gains much of its clientele through location alone, but its prices are high and the food and service are average.
On nights of a new theater release, Highhaven comes alive with noble coaches competing with throngs of theater goers. The restaurants, festhalls, inns, and taverns fill to the brim, and everyone on the streets are in their finest or most flamboyant eveningwear. After the performance, the Estates is the first neighborhood to quiet down, with most of the festivities moving behind the estate walls into the private areas while Rooundhall doesn't quiet down until the next morning when party-goers make their ways home or to work.
