The Contingency

The Contingency was an insurgency group formed in the nation of Hindland by unknown forces. The group overthrew the benevolent monarchy of King MaxMarcus VI, and executed the royal family.
They maintained control over the population with deputized thugs and self proclaimed enforcers.
The suspected leader of the organization was identified as the Dark Seer. Along with his enforcer, the Finger of the Seer, they opposed the coronation of a long lost member of the royal family during the Defiling of Holy Hill.
The group currently has annexed control over Holy Hill and has largely disbanded their control over Hindland.
