Umberfell

Similar in size to
Ellebore, this continent is a land split in half by The Spine, a treacherous and deadly mountain range. Only a few passes are known...and these are jealousy guarded by the Elf, Aiel.
The Aiel are sand elves who live in the Muspait Desert, descendants of the survivors of that long ago Rage. In that long ago past, these ancestors had chosen to swear an oath on non-violence and wander the desert to atone for their people’s actions leading up to that cataclysm. Over the years, there are now no longer any non-violent Aiel, the Jenn Aiel they were called, yet still no member of the clans will pick up a sword.
The Desert itself covers most of eastern Umberfell. A dry, windswept wasteland filled with death and mystery, a few oases exist, but most are hidden and require the knowledge of a true desert child to find.
At the northeast corner, between The Spine and the desert lies the Welsari Delta and the city of Djedbura. Also descendants of survivors from that long ago disaster, these elves had rejected the Aiel’s choice and now calling themselves the Elf, Bur'an they went looking for a place to rebuilt. They found their place along the banks of the Persari River and the delta leading to the coast.
At the northwest corner lies The Teeth and the Karzaba Peninsula beyond. A much smaller and less dangerous range, there are a few small dwarven mines hidden away within. Past the Teeth and you find yourself in a thick rainforest. This jungle covers most of the peninsula and is uninhabited. About two-thirds of the way up the forest begins to clear until there are only a few trees and oddly quite a few fields.
Carved into the western cliff toward the far end lies the city of White Gryphon. Founded by the final Elf, Kaled’a’in refugees to escape the cataclysm at the conclusion of the War of the Mad. Cut off from their homeland with no way of knowing where their kindred were, they made a home for themselves in this new place. This clan however had one thing that the Elf, Tayledras and Elf, Shin'a'in did not. When they escaped they brought Whyri's Gryphons.
South of the desert the land becomes rocky and volcanic. Filled with noxious gases, sulfur pools, and rivers of molten rock, nothing much lives in the Cinder Shards. The one exception is around the port town of Embervale and sky island of the Dragonborn. Little is known about these people. No other race has ever been allowed on Hulrulo, and only a few traders are allowed in the harbor.
The western half of Umberfell by contrast is a verdant veldt of grasslands and steppes. The Scattered Savannah is hunting grounds for both Tabaxi and the Thri-Kreen as well as others. There are two port cities, one slightly inland at the first river, Katmaden, and one on the western coast, Arborlisle Harbor.
South of the Savanna is The Scar, an enormous chasm cutting off the grasslands from the ancient, dense rainforest beyond. None have ever returned to tell of a bottom to the chasm, although even here...there are dwarven fat mines along the northern rim. And of the jungle beyond, nothing is known.
