Scattered Savannah
Description
The hunting territory of the Tabaxi comprise the true Savannah with rolling hills and sweeping grasslands of the northwestern portion of the continent. The city of Katmaden is built on stills in the middle of a large lake halfway down the Lion's Tail Run. From the run to the Canomar Canal, the land begins to slope upward in a series of steppes and bluffs. The southern side of the Canomar is marked by cliffsides almost a half-mile high and the land changed to rocky and scrubby wastelands before sloping downward to the see and The Scar. Almost all of this land was claimed by the Thri-Kreen Collective, except for around the port city of Arborlisle Harbor which was claimed by humans. The capitol of the collective and home of the Hive Queen is Queenspire, a large structure similar to a termite mound. The Lucent Channel runs down from the mountains, cutting off the wastes near Niaton Pass which had become particularly sandy over the centuries, before cascading over the side of the Scar at the Endless Falls.
