Arborlisle Harbor
About
The city of Arborlisle Harbor is built on and around a pair of hills on the edge of a wide harbor. It is a bustling trade city built from white and pink stone with streamers, banners, and kites of all colors flying above. Two sandbars/breakwaters flank the harbor and each has a solid looking tower with a gleaming light at the top. A heavy chain, each link the size of a halfling with the occasional set of spikes welded on, was strung quite loosely in the water, but could be drawn up to close off and protect the harbor if needed. The streets throughout are filled with tabaxi, orcs, humans. Smaller population of dragonborn, Umberfelll dwarves, and even the insectoid Thri-Kreen. Docks span the majority of the harbor with warehouses and nautical workshops nearby. The nearby hills, Tolgrom and Tezi, support much of the domestic portions of the city, with streets circling up to the peaks. In the valley between stretches a large bustling market and beyond that a large park surrounded by the governmental offices. Another large transportation area with large animal pens, warehouses, and inns catering to travelers stood just inside the gates that open onto the trade road into the Southern Savanah.Districts
- Docklands - this is the half-moon arc of the various shops, warehouses, and other businesses that a traveler could want
- Grand Market - Much of the market is carts and stalls, but there are also a number of ancient buildings as well.
- Twins Park - A large and luscious park with a fountain at the center with a pair of statues representing both Tolgrom and Tezi Gramyemri. Governmental buildings flanked the side of the park.
- Rallypoint - A second trade and transport district, this one focused on traveling overland across the Savanah
- Shades of Tolgrom - The lowest area between the northern Docklands and the hill rising behind it.
