Aquila's Maw
A place of great elemental power of the southern coast of Anglonia Proper. A pair of portals exist, one a thousand feet above the surface of the water and another a thousand feet below. Both of these portals lead to Agualar. The lower portal creates a constant whirlpool sucking water into its large mouth, roughly a thousand feet in diameter. The upper portal creates a constant immense waterfall of water that crashes into the surface of the water and is pulled into the whirlpool. The sea floor surrounding the maw are covered in wrecks of ships that foolishly travelled to closely to the maw and were torn asunder.
History
It is said that the maw was created during the age of strife, a titan was destroyed off of the coast of Klosso by Sturm, the Storm King and the titans death created a constant bond and scar between Vedunia and Agualar.
Tourism
Most sailors who are brave enough to visit this location find it to be their resting place for the rest of time.
