Employment
After she worked as a cook in a restaurant she found out she liked teaching the newbies. So she went back to the Red Tempest Academy. The only problem was there were no cooking classes. Only science a subject that she really hated when she was at school. She took it and changed the subject slowly into cooking class.

Mental Trauma
In her junior year, Phaelyn had science class and was doing an experiment together with her boyfriend. Like she, did almost every day, but this day the experiment went horrible wrong. A test tube with a corrosive substance blew up in the face of her boyfriend. The substance melted through the protective glasses and got into his eyes, making him blind. After, that she hated science so much she refused to do any more experiments.
Phaelyn doesn't like to talk about the Science accident.
