Thomas Martin Pennington was born to Travyss and Asholee Pennington in Freyholde, CY 1556. His childhood was relatively idyllic for the first twelve years of his life - living as a simple farmer's son amidst a beautiful vineyard - until he stumbled into a Fey portal in the woods.
It was there he met a tall man, red hair and a sky-blue cloak. Being twelve, it wasn't difficult for the individual (that would later become uncovered as The Erlkönig after significant magical prodding into Thomas' subconscious) to trick the child into making a deal. Thomas was whisked through into the Feywild's Spring Court on whim of the Erlkönig and the memories of his parents were stolen away, forgetting about his existence completely.
For the next sixty years, Thomas would wander the Feywild in search of a way home. It was there he gained his prodigal abilities as a Druid of Dreams - he became able to walk amongst the dreams of others and exploit that energy for arcane and healing purposes.
When he finally reemerged from the Feywild, he was found by The Stonebounders in the hills of southern Faron. Although met with his long-lost sister, Thomas immediately took a liking to Paavu Murkstone.
Thomas would guide the Stonebounders through the Lost Woods to the Fey city of Twinvale, before assisting them throughout Briris' Body Temple and rescuing Orion Ermendrud.
Five years later (CY 1624), Thomas would be one of the individuals called upon by Karyon Beeching to destroy The Erlkönig, whose presence had grown far too close for comfort. After a close scrape with death in a World That Never Was, he would return to Uthilith to assist with rebuilding Folweld and Moorshead (both of which were set on fire by cultists).
As of CY 1679, Thomas lives deep in the Hebra Mountains near the hamlet of Murkstone with partner Paavu.
