Spring Court

"You brush the fallen cherry blossoms from your shoulders as you inhale the sweet stench of Growth. The colorful brightness swirls around you, filling you with the wonder of deep curiosity."

Structure

The Spring Court is a subsidiary organization of the greater Seelie Court. As Titania - the Equinoctial Queen - has yet to be deposed, the Spring Court has never had the opportunity to establish dominance as the Seelie Regnant. However, since all four seasonal aspects of the Feywild (regardless of who has the Regnant seat) are eternally indebted to the five seasonal gods for assisting in the transition between Exandria and Uthilith, the Spring Court places more reverence in Blossom's Harbinger Verna than even their own rulers. The structure of power is as follows:    Ciden -> Verna -> Seelie Regnant (possessed by Titania) -> Presiding Archfey (possessed by Cloud) -> localized Archfey -> miscellaneous 'civilian' Fey

Culture

The Spring Court is guided by the emotion of curiosity, caused by the innate desire of creatures within to understand. They strive to understand motivation, playing upon the wants and desires of anyone who passes through their territory. Although the Spring Court lacks the malice often described by wanderers of the Unseelie Court, the Spring Court is perceived by regular explorers of the Feywild as quite possibly the most dangerous to the layman. Being instilled with curiosity can lead one off of the beaten path, which is an incredibly dangerous venture.   The way inhabitants of the Spring Court describe curiosity varies massively. Some may wish to simply gather a better look at a mortal traveller, yet some may choose to place them into magical experiments to gauge reaction.

Public Agenda

The Spring Court - particularly with its current Presiding Archfey - has no obvious public agenda. This is the least institutionalized of the four Fey courts, as its inhabitants care little for bureaucracy within their own chaotic ventures.

History

As the Spring Court cares little for institutions and tradition, its Presiding Archfey has shifted many times since Genesis. The current archfey in power took this job on a whim after surviving an interaction with The Erlkönig, in fairly recent memory.
