Nada has unusual parentage. Her father is a wandering Fairy. This is itself rare, but even rarer (and possibly the cause of his wandering, at least in part) is that his Source Tree is a Dryad. This Dryad is Nada's mother. Thus, Nada is a Half-Fairy-Dryad. Also, she has special powers.
Like the twinnish Nymphs, Patricia and Jacinta Nada was given a Fairy Message denoting a song at her birth. While this song ties the twinnish Nymphs to the present, the song ties Nada to the Realm of Turien. She often wanders (accidentally) into other Realms by following the sounds of various tunes and melodies unknown to her previously. All three girls grew quite close as they sing to each other to keep themselves grounded in the present Turien.

Nada is the All-Races Classroom in order to eventually become a part of the Inter-racial Research Team. Initially, she was bribed by Human Hero Steve to join the classroom, in part, to keep her friends (Patricia Clarke and Jacinta Smith) company.
Over the school year, Nada finds a love of learning, and a different 'quiet space' within academia. Thus, even when her friends decide to leave, she stays in the classroom.
