Average technological level

Fairies live on the basis of provision. The Forest provides their food and shelter. The Density is their community. The relationship with their source tree provides them with magic and life.

Birth & Baptismal Rites

Fairies are born alongside (at least, at the same time as) a seed from the Central Tree that will become their own source tree, if they plant the tree with their magic.  Normally, parents will use telepathy to guide their children in this process.  Half-Fairies will often be a bit older when they do this, as their other race interferes with the aging process.

Funerary and Memorial customs

When a Fairy dies, their source tree becomes their grave. Over time, the tree will grow over itself (as a hand clasping closed) and [turn to stone once their last leaf falls]. [The leaves will have a [cycle] of green, then yellow, then orange, then red, then brown. (Or similar, dependent on the tree type.)]

Historical figures

Aunt May (who can be found in the Central Tree) was the first fairy to live in Turien. Almost all of her [direct] descendants have died.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Fairies often have short hair, or hair constantly worn in a bun. This is primarily due to the fact that they often deal with air and having one's hair caught can be a pain. But now you also get to see their necks...
