This union will forever change the fate of Turien.
This message is all that remains in the hollow where roots should be in the inner, private, section of
The First Source Tree tree. Although
Aunt May can no longer remember what was there, it must have been important if a message from the Creator was associated with it. So she framed the message and placed it in the public area of her Source-tree. Maybe someone will remind her what the prophetical words were about.
Unfortunately, all of the first generation and most of the second generation of Fairies (barring Aunt May) have long since left the living in Turien, so no one currently alive knows that it was her wedding gift from the Creator. As with many forgotten things, a new 'history' was given to it, squabbled over, and constantly rewritten. The current favourite is as follows:
Aunt May was the first being to step into this world. But she was not a proper Fairy, as she did not have a Source-tree of her own. At first, this was fine, and no one cared. But soon, there were whispers that because she wasn't a real Fairy, she wouldn't be able to have a real Fairy family, no marriage, and no children. It was only a matter of time before she would be kicked out of the Density.
And these rumours upset dear Aunt May. She wanted a Source-tree of her own so she got close to some of the forst generation Fairies. And as she got close, she manipulated them into thinking that they were all part of her 'precious family'. As she got closer to them, she shared their Source-trees.
But sharing wasn't enough. Getting a feel for the fresh magic that Source-trees brought forth from the underground and oversky magic disks, Aunt May decided she wanted one of her own.
So she killed the Fairy closest to her. She mourned him and took over his Source-tree to let him keep living' and 'doing her duty as his family'. Except Fairies never forgot that it was not her own Source-tree. And she got bored.
The next Fairies death started a ripple of rumours, but they were kept on the low, as what Fairy could do something so horrid? But Aunt May experimented, and took the two dead Fairies' Source-trees and twisted them into one. The ripple of rumours grew. Aunt May was having fun. And more Fairies died, Aunt May amalgamating their Source-Trees into her own.
This amalgalmation that became known as the First Source Tree was sent a message by the Creator and then became the Source-tree of messages, reminding Aunt May to stay in her place and stop the fatal experiments of her kin.
