Getting kidnapped by goblins, storytime with a dragon, meeting gnomes and refugees in Kalio.

The party visits Gruttel in the House of Magical Detention. Naivara goes inside to talk with him. He is desperate for input and asks her to bring books, letters, anything, even religious works would be more than welcome. Naivara discusses this with the warden, but the request is declined due to their policy to let new residence be completely alone with their minds to stimulate self-awareness for the first moon (so no books, no nothing).   Afterwards, the party takes some free time. Merja goes on a date with Sanna, visits her house and heals her mother from a terminal illness. Nadi spies on their previous place of residence and is discovered, after which they escape the city to make camp for themself, messing up the fire and turning their head into a firbolg. Naivara and Hagal rent a boat, have an earnest conversation and practice some meditation out on the fjord (with added dolphins).

Na door de elemental leyline heen aan land te zijn gebracht (wat interessante effecten had op Nadi), gaat de party te voet op weg naar het Tirakila observatorium, wat dicht bij de rand van de Faewild ligt en een betere telescoop heeft. Op de eerste avond krijgen ze bezoek van een menselijke kat, een tabaxi genaamd Tom. Hij deelt hun kampvuur en hun tent, maar stuurt zichzelf weg nadat Merja hem betrapt op het proberen te stelen van haar dagboek.

Na de transformatie van Nadi en nog snel even door de telescoop kijken vertrekt de party zo snel mogelijk van het observatorium vandaan. Na een nacht en een kudden gigantische geiten met een wolfachtig beest wat half uit schaduw bestaat, komen ze in het woud wat zich uitstrekt rondom Faellys. Daar lopen ze op hun tenen om het iets-te-levende woud niet te ergeren en komen uiteindelijk zonder problemen bij de grenspost van Thymerion aan.

Nadi komt een individu genaamd Madra tegen in de Schaduwplane, en ruilt haar echte naam voor een overzetting naar de material plane. Ze is nu half corporeal in de omgeving van de steenadi, maar er mist duidelijk nog iets.

The party has entered the domain of Frillia the Fire's Fury. This Fire Eladrin protects the only seed of the moontree, which holds a fire that provides heat to the whole forest. This seed remains in a dormant state as long as the humidity of the surrounding air and soil is carefully controlled. Carrying or using water is therefore strictly forbidden in this domain. Since the party didn't know this, they naturally broke this law, were surrounded by pixie guards and escorted to home of Frillia.   On their way there the party and pixies were overtaken by a forest fire. The pixies, being able to fly, quickly managed to escape, but the party had a bit more trouble. Eventually, with the help of the captain of the pixie guard and a newly befriended faerie dragon named Tabor, they sort-of-safely managed to climb the thick, flame-retardant trees, where they waited for the fire to die down.   At Frillia's place they have a tense conversation and are in the end asked to perform a task as compensation for the endangerment of the forest. They are given several options, but choose to play guides for the daughter of the most respected advisor of Frillia named Ashlia once they leave Faellys. Ashlia is to spend around one year abroad, after which she must safely return to Faellys.

Faerie dragon Tyriok teaches the party about the nature of magic and tries to learn them how they can control their own magic within Faellys. Due to the wild magic it keeps blowing up in their faces.
Hagal is the first to try but doesn't get the grasp of it. Nadi is the second to try and succeeds almost immediately, thus admitting their spellcasting ability openly for the first time. Nadi is so shocked by the fact that it worked and that they revealed their secret that they drop the control of the invisibilty spell. As a result, Nadi is thrown into the Shadowrealm, where they have a confrontation with Brabesh, an entity that they apparently somehow owe their life to and who claims ownership over their body and person. Suddenly, Madra appears, confronting Brabesh herself and sending Nadi back to the Faewild.
Meanwhile Merja and Naivara had been succesfully practicing the control of their magic. Naivara was a bit taken aback that it worked on their magic since they had always believed that their magic came from Kreo directly. With help of Tyriok they eventually concluded that the magic lies in the world around them, and Kreo helps them to tap into it and use it in a functional form.
