Rosiloff
In a wide open valley lies the city of Rosiloff, capital of Offenland. The city grew around the ford of the small river Breksell. Views of the city from the surrounding hills are dominated by the spires several large Churches of Teona.
Government
Unlike the rest of Offenland, Rosiloff is not actually a part of the 57 estates. As such, it has no Lord, and its residents have a modicum more freedom as a result. That said, the city is managed by the Council Reeves, an administrative organisation who work for the Council of Rosiloff, but are largely independent and make most decisions about the management of the city themselves. All the non-religious property and all goods produced in the city are still centrally owned, and are distributed "fairly" among citizens.
Industry & Trade
Many people in the city are involved in the manufacture and distribution of goods. Raw iron is imported and made into tools to be sent out to the estates. Wool is brought in from the estates, woven and manufactured into clothes and blankets. Most of this work is done in small workshops, often attached to houses.
Guilds and Factions
The Reeves of the Council maintain a tense relationship with the clergy of the church. Disagreements about how much should be distributed to the church, the population, and the council are common.
Architecture
Most buildings in the city are wooden, built with oak from local woodland. The churches and administrative buildings are generally much larger, with high roofs and thick sandstone walls. The skyline is dominated by the sparkling spire of the Cathedral of Teona.
