A human cleric credited with the restoration of the Church of Seyr after it fell to corruption.

General Physical Condition

Jon kept himself fit almost by accident. While in Lourin he would be constantly on the go, travelling around to help the sick and the injured. He wasn't much different in Shaon, rushing around everywhere at a run as he tried to balance his duties as leader of the church with a desire to keep helping individuals.

Personal history

Jonathon was a cleric of Seyr who lived in the village of Lourin in the northeast of the Holy Kingdom of Caresnas. An unambitious man, Jonathon wished for little more than for his congregation to attend services a little more often. However when a group of adventurers arrived from Shaon with dire tidings about the corruption of the other clerics he found himself dragged into a series of events that would reshape the entire kingdom.
As the last true, uncorrupted cleric in Caresnas, Jon became the leader of a rebellion against the corrupted church. With the aid of the adventurers he travelled to Shaon and overthrew the corrupted leadership. Despite his own reluctance there were few other choices for a new leader of the church so he finally agreed to become the Radiant Guide. He continued in this position for the remainder of his life, trying to rebuild trust in Seyr's teachings.
According to the Seyrian clergy Jon was transformed into a celestial being on his death and prayers are now offered to him as a representative of Seyr.

Contacts & Relations

Jonathon's closest companions were the adventuters who came to find him in Lourin. Although both Tristrum Morningstar and Ashrim LeFaye were forced to leave Shaon, Jonathon kept in contact with them as much as possible. He remained on friendly terms with both Rowan and Kenuij Silverpetal for the rest of his days.

Serving the People

Despite being involved in cleansing the corruption of the Church of Seyr Jon is best remembered and celebrated for his kindness to people. A true follower of Seyr, Jon would always find time to help those in need. Even during the journey to Shaon, Jon took numerous detours to help others (much to the frustation of the adventurers travelling with him). He dismissed their concerns over the delay by pointing out that they could hardly restore the worship of Seyr if the ignored Seyr's tenets.
