History
Ingrid is a member of the Magpies, and she leads the thief guild in the northern region of the
Duchy of Freed. Here, she rules as a cruel enslaver.
In her line of work, it is rare to find allies or to have the support of an entire clan or village, yet it did happen to Ingrid when the village of
Raskam, one of the northernmost villages in the region of
Tall tree, worked with the Magpies to survive after their leader, Kalkia, left the tribe to chase after a man. Ingrid became great friends with
Tyri Crestel on this occasion.
Until the fateful battle that opposed men and giants on Raskam shores, Ingrid helped Raskam in exchange for their support. But with the agglomeration of official troops, soldiers, and guards from the entire empire in order to defeat the giants, her illegal operations were forced to stop soon after the battle.
Her base of operation was destroyed, and Ingrid badly wounded. During an expedition, Tyri once more met with Ingrid, who was starving and alone after her defeat. Tyri took pity on her old friend and brought her back to Raskam, an act that the new leader and the guards did not take kindly to. Tyri told Ingrid about her plan to overthrow Kalkia and asked for her help, to which Ingrid agreed, and they both swore an oath, making them Battlesisters.
With Ingrid's troop support, Tyri challenged her mother to a duel and won decisively, killing her in the process. Tyri was now the new leader of Raskam and did not waste a second, immediately allying with the Magpies again, secretly providing them with prisoners and those who opposed her for their slave trade.
