The Seekers
The seekers, an apolitical order whose mission is to protect the realm and hunt demonic threats and the likes through any means necessary. Seekers whore distinctive white tabards, often covered by dark leather armor but worn over the clothing. This organization is so old, and apolitical, even knight of the seekers are not blessed with an actual knight title outside of their ranks. Seekers are respected, tho feared among Toriel.
The seekers is an apolitical order founded back after the War of the Ancients. The organization was founded with the reunion of numerous so-called 'demon slayers' that wanted to fight the evil monster still lurking on the surface of this earth. Despite the ages, the organization is one of the only ones still standing to this day, as their service was and still is a blessing for the inhabitants of Toriel.
Often perceived as evil and dangerous, seekers care very little for how they are perceived, only the hunt of demonic threats and their elimination is important, and this, no matter the cost. One village lost to a battle against a demon will always be less important than a new full-blown war against the demons. Members of the silver flame come from all origins and all factions, and their influences can be felt worldwide.
As one of the oldest organizations still standing, the library of this order contains secrets and knowledge numerous couldn't even imagine. This power, serving in the Seekers' quest, is kept a secret from the rest of the world. and a council three command the organization.
Knights of the seekers are free to wander the world in pursuit of the order’s aims.
Admittance
The Seekers are open to men and women from every race, nation and background, even criminals. They also accept volunteers, and outcasts in particular tend to be eager to submit themselves for the Seekers, as they recruit regardless of social standing and serving is considered by many an honor. Should they need to, the Seekers possess the Right of Conscription, an authority that dates back to the end of War of the Ancients and was given to them to ensure they will always have enough members. By using this Right, a citizen may demand, instantly and irrevocably, to be drafted into the ranks of the Seekers. The conscript cannot refuse being recruited once the Right is invoked. The full extent of this right of Conscription is not recognized across the realms, and only Tana's empire still agree with this ancient right. This right is sometimes used by criminal trying to cheat death, as the right of conscription outlaw even a death sentence. While most people believe that someone must truly hate demons to join the Seekers, in most cases the potential recruits are just responsible individuals with a strong sense of will. In fact, most Seekers see their first demons only after becoming initiates. More so, veteran Seekers consider that having a personal hatred of the demons can be detrimental to a Seeker if it leads them to make rash and irrational decisions. The Seekers don't accept just anyone within their ranks, however. Only the best and brightest are allowed. Recruits suffer excruciating tests to determine if they are worthy of being members.Relationships
