The country of Uthurg is ruled by Exarch Crosvag. As a pure Monarchy Uthurg is a brutal and trying place. Holding power due to deals with the great dragon Kydren Skybreaker, the Exarc is near unassailable. The capitol of Uthurg is Malaja-rak. As the home to a vast variety of giants, adventurers and mages, it is recommended to the smaller folk to avoid the area.

Uthurg is also home to the Gloam. The Gloam view the continent of Uthurg to be theirs and to be conquered. The presence of giants and others in their homelands is an affront to be dealt with.
Uthurg is also home to the Darkfrost. A deadly area of darkness and cold. The Gloam live within the Darkfrost and consider it to be their territory. Everything in Uthurg north of Malaja'rak is considered the Darkfrost.
