The Changemaker
Ship of the Toivoan Trainwreck now lays in the depths of the Plane of Water
Overview
The crew of the Changemaker (also known as Crew of The Flight Risk) was brought together by unfortunate chance when Natch "Larry" Lief framed 6 passerby for theft in Nousha. When presented, in prison, with the opportunity to escape (in)justice and serve the Crown's interest, the crew agreed to solidify a partnership.
They escaped prison, with the aid of "The Agent" and members of The Longstrider's Consortium. They attacked the ship of the people who had framed them (briefly experiencing imprisonment again) and eventually commandeered the vehicle. The ship was renamed Changemaker, given a makeover, and found new purpose on the seas. This ship was eventually abandoned at the edge of Ostrea, but returned back to the crew following their time in the Fae Wilds.
Shortly thereafter, the Changemaker was teleported to an underwater plane, effectively destroyed. The crew then commandeered a Servantes ship and renamed it the Flight Risk (on account of its brief time mid-air). This large ship has served as their permanent vessel since then.
The crew has taken several jobs. They have sailed (with varying success) from Nousha, to Riport, to Endland Pointe, to Ostrea, to Bourboun, and Shau. They have travelled through Central Wall, across several locations in the Fae Wilds, traversed the entirety of The Chrononacrum, and were last seen riding across the mainland of Shau.

Missions
- Serve The Agent's Interests: Commandeer the Nebula. The crew killed all but Pitney Bones and Larry "Natch" Lief. The Nebula was renamed, re-figured, and disguised as the Changemaker.
- Destroy the Drug Lab on Crab Island: The crew of the Changemaker blew up the lab, killed all but the 3 shadar kai in the archive, and fed thug corpses to giant crab monsters.
- Destroy the Headquarters of The 12 Spiders in Endland Pointe: The crew found the secret headquarters under a smutty bookshop, and killed everyone there (except for the bloodmages who teleported away). They looted the complex of all goods except for the archives and any documentation. They rescued Suke.
- Update the Changemaker: In order to disguise the Changemaker, make it habitable by all heroes, and improve its combat capability, the crew made several updates (disguise paint, ramp/stairs, Skinny, arm Skinny).
- Investigate the Frenzy Trade in Ostrea: Following the dismantling of the Wresten distributors of Frenzy, the crew was asked to destroy the suppliers: who they learned were the rainbow dragon and a stranded aboleth in the southernmost river in Ostrea.
- Return Silas to The Blue Palace Throne: Following news that Silas was dethroned by the likes of Madame Moira and Xurrud, the crew was tasked with finding Silas and returning him to power.
- Defeat Sagheos, and stop his spread of Frenzy: The crew has cleared the northwest of Frenzy and intends to stop Sagheos the Chromatic Dragon for good.
- Survive & Become Powerful: Raid the Hag. The crew raided the hag cave (east of Riport) and stole her treasure chest, earning enough money to survive another day.
- Don't Get Raided by Sahuagin: The crew expertly avoided getting killed by fish people after sailing too close to the coast. Rumor is Natch Lief directed them after the crew.
- Don't be Caught by the Sohnoza Protectorate: The crew successfully sweet-talked their way out of being boarded or fined by CPT Palalir of The Black Manta. They get a flag and an invitation to The Lonely Islands.
- Recover the Derelict Barge: The crew investigated a derelict barge, finding it full of monstrous animals. They took the barge to Endland Pointe and sold it to The Longstrider's Consortium, who found appropriate and responsible homes/deaths for all the animals.
- Recover a Mirror for Silas: The crew stole a magic mirror from a nearby mansion and delivered it to Silas, earning an IOU favor in thanks.
- Delivery Run to Central Wall: The crew sailed to the Central Wall in hopes of learning some herbalist craft. Isaac joined the crew as a guide and guard. They picked up recipes for 4 types of healing potions, and a Greater Mana Potion.
- The Central Wall Museum Heist: In order to avoid a nasty engagement with Yuan Ti rebels in the desert, the crew agreed to steal an artifact during their time in The Central Wall. They succeeded, gaining a handful of unusual items. In thanks, the Yuan Ti gifted the crew the recipe for a Potion of Advantage.
- Explore the Unmapped Ostrea: The crew explored from Fort Folly to the southernmost river of Ostrea, meeting several tribes, hearing legends, and learning the land and fauna. They overcame Fyr in the Mountain and each won the title Wayfinder. They met the Spirits of the land and collected their blessings.
- Exorcise 123 Merry Way: The crew spent several days at a home near the consortium, tasked with preventing a certain someone from returning there. Though they were successful with guarding the home, they learned of a ghost-like woman taking refuge in the walls. They were unable to defeat her but managed to sort out a deal and effectively neutralized her as a threat.
- Travel the Fae Wilds: The crew travelled across the Fae Wilds, gathering Chrononacrum keys and other resources along the way.
- Steal a Servantes Ship: The crew overpowered an attacking Servantes ship and took it as their prize.
- Fight a Ghost Ship: The crew boarded a long-abandoned ship midsea and narrowly escaped with their lives after finding out it was extremely haunted.
Allies
- Alliee: Rescued from a driftwood raft north of Nousha. Has brought work to the crew, offered to help sail the Changemaker, and earned her cut of the loot.
- Suke: Rescued from below the floorboards at The 12 Spiders' headquarters in Endland Pointe. Has earned Krystal's favor.
- The Longstrider's Consortium: Not totally trusted, but the crew appreciates the work and appreciates not being in jail... After members of the Longstrider's Consortium put them in jail.
- Silas: Far from trusted by the entire crew, Silas is an acquaintance with whom they have conducted business, and of whom a debt is owed. He has been generous, patient, and very frightening; the crew wishes to maintain a congenial position or be completely forgotten—depending on their individual levels of common sense.
- Yuan Ti rebels: Based outside the Central Wall, working as bandits. The crew has performed work and trade with them at great risk.
- Slashing Wind tribe: The crew was welcomed as members of the tribe before going into The Mountain. They maintain a good relationship.
- Ostrean Gnoll tribe: Encountered in mid-Ostrea, the crew participated in a gnollish ceremony. Although there were some communication issues, and the parting was strained, it can't be denied that there is a bond there.
- Joshua: Encountered among the small army guarding a Frenzy lab in south Ostrea. He agreed to defect from his previous arrangement and was given instructions to make his way to The Changemaker at Fort Folly for a ride out of the country. Last seen armed with a magic flute and fearsome mal, his fate has yet to be decided.
- The Worldeaters: Found at the edge of Shau, the crew allied with the powerful faction both set on defeating Sagheos. Nearly 50 Worldeater vessels have been sent to assist the crew.
