Zhoron Lialar (Zho-Ron Lia-Lar)

Description

Zhoron Lialar is a revered mage in the lands of Seranos, His achievements are so noteable that even those from the the other side of the continent knows of him. He is also known for creating the new age calendar, The Lialar calendar (link it). He is also responsible from stopping the undead horde of Fireraze Isle from growing and finding a solution to restore the dreadful lands of the isle. His achievements are large and far, but half of them he does not remember, for his memory is fogged and the past is gone, he knows only the present.

History

Childhood and young adult years

Zhoron Lialars childhood is but a foggy wall of mystery, every person that knew him as child is gone, as far as he's aware, and even then, he can't remember anyone, his parents, cousins, friends of old, all gone to him, he's looked far and wide to search of his past when he had time outside of his Arch-magus duties but he found nothing, nothing that could connect any dots in his mind, he begged the gods but got no answer.
His memory dissapeared in his young adult years, He remembers entering af "magic blackspot", unknown to him at the time, after entering the blackspot nothing happened at first but not long after his body quickly deteriorated, he realised quickly he found himself in a blackspot, he ran as fast as he could from the blackspot, he kept trying to cast magic until finally he could throw an ice bolt, he was relieved, but looked at himself and realised, his body had aged rapidly, more then any elf of Seranos ever would normally, he tried to find a way around the "blackspot", and as he found a way around, he thought to himself, "Why was i even sent out here?", he had no memory of why, he then tried to think of his goal, but realised quickly the more he searched his mind, the less he could remember, his friends, family, his past, all gone, nothing to remember, like it never existed, he knew something was wrong, but couldn't remember anything, he panicked and laid down in the sand.
Hours pass as he lays in the desert sand, he looks around with the thoughts of giving up as he seems to have lost everything, but decides to look in his bag for anything that can remind him. In the bag there's a letter from King Laeroth Bisandoral, in the letter it tells Zhoron his goal, to find an end to Fireraze Isle's undead horde, in the letter it also tells him that he's the Arch-magus of the Seralian Kingdom, he picks himself up and tries to remember the Fireraze isle but nothing comes to him, he decides to look through his documents and books and quickly learns what it was, as he documented all his work. He stood up and told himself, to move on, look for the past in the future, for now there's a task a hand, one that has to be solved somehow one way or another, or else the Kingdom might fall.

Adulthood

After the many years of experimenting to find a solution issue of Fireraze Isle, Zhoron Lialar eventually found one, he found out that if he took a soul of a living being it was able to reverse the effect of the undead, he did also theories that since death and life is two different aspects, that would cause it to fight, which would mean that is there's more "life" force then "death" force, then the "life" force would overpower it and potentially bring back life, he did then ponder if that is how ressurection truly works? He presented this to Laeroth, and Laeroth congratulated him, but asked him since this was his foundings, does this mean that they would have to use more "life force" to turn back Fireraze Isle, Zhoron sighed and confirmed that is what his findings indicated not that he was a fan of sacrificing so many lives but, he saw no other solution, he could keep experimenting he said, but Laeroth stopped him and said if that is what they must do, then let it be so, he will begin the initiative, Zhoron begged to find another solution but (link former king of seralian kingdom) did not back down.
After years of seeing his experiment being used, (link former king of seralian kingdom) and Zhoron could see it worked, and better then they expected as parts of Fireraze Isle regrew its grass and came back to it's former life, unfortunately Zhoron knew the sacrifices that was made, and demanded that a hall in Dawnwick was to be dedicated to the souls that offered their lives restoring Fireraze Isle that is the least they could do, Laeroth understood Zhoron's sentiment, not that he agreed with it and told Zhoron it was pointless, but did regardless of his comment out of respect for Zhoron and what he had achieved, it was the least he could do for Zhoron.
Zhoron not long after seeing his work flourish, started on a new project, as he looked to the stars he slowly began to study them, he was no astronomer, but decided to do it, to keep him occupied and keep his mind off the atrocities of Fireraze Isle. He studied the stars for days, weeks and months, and soon found alignments in the stars, and began to look at the calendar and noticed they didn't align with the stars and days, he slowly began to design a new calendar which after a few years he published, and many astronomers took to heart and adopted themselves and not soon after was adopted by all of Seranos, as his name became known in all of Seranos, he decided to begin looking for his past and use his "fame" to his advantage, but in the end still found nothing of his past, it was like it never existed, he never managed to find anything, saddened he went back to the kingdom and began serving and advising the new king, (link the new king of Seralia).
