In the year of 4997, an ancient evil returned to this world, from the land of Aeternitas. Shadow beings were released from these cursed lands, corrupting the surrounding landscapes. Mortum, the ruler of Aeternitas, launched numerous assaults across Titan. The following years, the surrounding kingdoms began invading back, protecting their land, and stopping the invasion. In the year 5003, a collective push was initiated, drafting numerous reserve soldiers and citizens. The group now known as Azure, was one of the chosen ones. Some like Kalahan Ostragoth, willingly choose to fight, while others like Frogo and Thorne Hayes, were dragged into a war they didn't want to fight for. The resulting assault ultimately failed, and lead to a stalemate between the kingdoms. In the year 5023, Not'umel frees Azure from Mortum's prison. A guards spots them, and they quickly dispose of them. Thorne Hayes interrogates them, revealing that they've been frozen in stone for around two decades. They steal the key and weapon from the guard, and follow Not'umel. Frogo splits up from the group, resulting in them investigating two paths to get to the exit. Frogo is stuck dealing with a guard, while the other group stumples upon Puffer, and ultimately save her. After sneaking away from the guards, they find a weapon room, and ready themselves for action. They deal with the guards, and save Frogo. Along the way they find Asraar Jabal, an old but mysterious old hazel skinned man. Asraar Jabal uses some black powder to blow up a wall to a seemingly empty cave. Upon going in, they hear noises from behind, and Not'umel splits up from the party, and hands Thorne Hayes a glowing rock. The rest of the group heads for the cave, to which they discover is filled with spiders.

As they escape to the cave, they hear an explosion, blocking the way they came from. From there, they go through the cave, fighting numerous spiders on the way. Upon seeing a waterway, they temporarily split up, Asraar Jabal going with Thorne Hayes , and Frogo going with Kalahan Ostragoth, following the cave river. Along the way they fight through cave spiders, and eventually being to spot a giant spider blocking the entrance. They regroup, and formulate a plan of attack, and execute it. After salvaging the giant spider's parts, they hear Not'umel running towards them, warning them that they need to run. Looking at the direction he came from, they spot Mortum with her guards. After escaping the cave, Not'umel blows up a part of the cave roof, blocking their path, and effectively escaping Mortum's grasps. The group sees the outside for the first time in two decades, a deceivingly dark forest. After escaping, Asraar Jabal decides to part ways, and hands Frogo a letter in Thieves' kant. Asraar Jabal could tell Frogo was one like him, and told Frogo to stay tuned. The Great War, there was a stalemate between the people of Titan and what is now known as Aeternitas. However, Mortum still advances outwards towards the rest of Titan. Thorne Hayes asked what happened to the pirate clans, and Not'umel answered that ever since one of the major clans were wiped out, it has been suspiciously stable. When Frogo asked about his home Regfufio, he answers that there has been a coup d'état, a violent takeover of the state. Not much is known, but it is supposedly more religious, with a new queen. Not much is known about the previous king. As a last thing, Mortum must never get her hands on the glowing stone, and must be hidden away, given to the Fates. Not'umel greets them farewell, and says that they will meet again.
Upon waking up, they venture deeper into the forest, and hear a voice. It is a member of the fates. They approach, except Kalahan Ostragoth, as he hides in the bushes. They are stopped by some guards, and gets questioned. Upon questioning the party why they are in restircted area, Florentia Valiade questions them too. Florentia Valiade tells them that they're here for Fates business, which Frogo might have heard of. The questioning stops, as The Reverend , as he suggests the party might be friendly, and willing to lend a hand. The Reverend is introduced as the holy leader of Hellenism, the religion of Kingdom of Themis. Thorne Hayes tries to flirt with Florentia Valiade, and fails badly. As they help them with investigations, Kalahan Ostragoth finds scratch marks, and finds black ooze. Upon searching, he is ambushed by Adriani Valiade, who investigates with Kalahan Ostragoth, guessing he is with the rest. Kalahan Ostragoth dumps his scimitar into the black ooze, and it gets eaten. Thorne Hayes finds scratch marks too in some abandoned building, looks unnatural. Thorne Hayes finds a vial, and is unsure what it says. Frogo also finds scratched marks, and ooze. Frogo finds a small fairy hiding in a corner, and Frogo trauma dumps what happened to him. The fairy talks about how her master Cervus Custos has been corrupted, along with her fairy friends. It happened all of the sudden. As Kalahan Ostragoth investigates with Adriani Valiade, a shadow tries to slash Kalahan Ostragoth. A fight breaks out, and they beat the shadow creatures. After everyone calms down, Thorne Hayes decides to flirt with. Adriani Valiade, and succeeds. Thorne Hayes explains to the group how his glowing rock melts some of the black ooze. As that happens, the fairy asks Frogo for help, which he agrees to do, and the fairy hides inside Frogo. As they ride out of the ruined town, Frogo notices how the forest is more colourful, and sees faries cry in the forest.
