Danundseer
Where is Danundseer?
Northeast along the roads from Akilno and Mosdenechrak, directly north from Ranivik, Walled Garden, and south of Keltia-Aneya, Danundseer is a mostly-forested theome on the south side of the north-central forests of central Tachamund. Despite its proximity to Mosdenechrak, Danundseer is slightly obscure, as the primary road to it passes through Inadagedyn and Inaildoro, and is thus avoided by most caravans.
How is Danundseer classified?
There is no sign of a land god in Danundseer and fate lays light on the populous, so the theome is classified as Missing.
What kind of population and economy does Danundseer have?
Danundseer's economy is very sustainably focused on long-term forestry and light agriculture. The local farmers are known in part for growing large quantities of edible fungus, forming one of the more renowned exports of Danundseer. There are also ample trade services as Danundseer is a ubiquitous stop-over for the north-south trade corridor in central Tachamund. The local cuisine is considered exceptional, at least for people who are comfortable eating fungus.
A notable absence from the province is that it has no mines and no quarries. With no land god to guarantee everlasting productivity, people have been reluctant to strike the earth and try to harvest stone or ore from the province.
The people of Danundseer are known for being friendly to travellers. They are very hospitable to caravans, and those who bring trade to Danundseer often get their meals free within the theome. This is usually celebrated as a bit of a cost savings, although some merchants get annoyed at having the savory fungus-heavy meals of Danundseer pressed on them.
