Inadagedyn and Inaildoro
Where is Inaildoro?
Just north of the regional jewel Akilno and Mosdenechrak and just southeast of Danundseer, Inaildoro is a sparsely populated Mystic theome south of the north-central forest in Tachamund. It is also east of Ranivik, Walled Garden.
How is Inaildoro classified?
Inaildoro is a Negotiable theome. Its grasslands may be wide open and easily traversed or swathed in dense banks of mist and threatened by strange monsters. Different groups travelling across the same roads at the same time may meet very different conditions without ever meeting one another. With occasional fatalities and disappearances, Inaildoro is popularly evaded by merchants. Nevertheless, the route north is most direct from Mosdenechrak by crossing Inaildoro, and anyone in a Tekagoli Caravan may gain a minor advantage by crossing Inaildoro while trusting in Baggil to save them from disasters in the mystic theome.
What kind of population and economy does Inaildoro have?
Those who have faced Inadagedyn's challenges and found them little danger sometimes choose to settle here in this misty grassland. It's deeply unclear exactly how many people live in Inaildoro, as the exact location of its few villages and their farms seem to change depending on the particular visiting party.
Taking the roads through Inaildoro is considered a bold or ignorant way to cut distance and save time on the north-south routes of central Tachamund. Some merchants do it every time, claiming that the key to surviving in Mystic theomes is not fighting the monsters, but finding strength in self-knowledge.
What is Inadagedyn like?
Few people ever meet Inadagedyn, who is typically represented in art as an odd wingless dragon with cloven hooves and helical horns. Inferences about his personality from the monsters who roam the mists have tended towards the hostile, although as with most Mystic theomes there are defenders of the place who claim that dealing with its hazards has a purifying effect on those who adventure here.
What is the Fate Beacon that Inagedyn maintains over Inaildoro?
The small farming villages that love his misty apparitions and find no danger here are the pride of Inadagedyn, who loves to find people who fit in here. This is why he maintains a Dream beacon which calls out to people who would likewise find safety and joy living in this obscure part of Theoma.
