Tachamund
Between Kelkaith to its north and Kanjamund to its south is the continent of Tachamund, which projects from Kelkaith like a vast westward peninsula. Nowhere close to being as cold as Kelkaith, Tachamund intercepts warm, wet southern air flows from across the sea. The damp climate of Tachamund is excellent for the growth of forests, and Tachamund might be one great foggy forest if it were not for having been extensively settled as a temperate climate with many benevolent land gods. The cut-back forests supply wood to all Theoma via ships built right here, and food is grown in the grasslands revealed by that cutting. Much of the food eaten in Kelkaith is imported from Tachamund.
The weather in Tachamund is exuberantly good for forests to grow, and the mountains in Tachamund are well-positioned to catch water-laden winds from the ocean and wring them dry all over anyone who happened to be vacationing thinking the misty forests are beautiful. This weather is also good for crops, most of the time, though flooding can be an issue even away from the swift-flowing rivers of Tachamund.
