Tigressia

Tigressia sits on pure sands and clear beaches. Tigressia is not easily reached and does not receive much tourism or revenue. Instead, Tigressia is home to Catthorn Ridge's School of the Arcane - L'Academie. The mages there turn the fine sand into glass and uses the glass to then create wares.
Due to the amount of glass production, many of the buildings are structured to show off the skills of the mages living there. Large stained glass windows create the feel of being transported into a new world when the sun is shining high above in the sky.
The mages are also responsible for policing their city as Cattharn soldiers are typically not allocated for this city. While powerful and imposing, the mages are overworked and crime is on the rise.
Once every two months, caravans from Cattharn head to Tigressia to purchase their glass-wares and distribute them throughout the kingdom and across borders. This is the only time Cattharn soldiers police the city, as the caravans are equipped with exorbitant sums of gold and return with just as valuable if not more valuable glass goods.

Geography

The peninsula of the Sands is made up of crystallized sand, forming large sharp ends from the high winds caused by the ocean.
The majority of the Sands is coated in pure fine sand, with soft rolling dunes that grow into gigantic sand formations at the eastern coast.
The city itself borders the northern coast, with clear blue beaches and sand so fine it glitters in the sunlight. The richest of the city dwellers live in manors alongside the beach.
