Physical Description

Body Features

Elisa is pure Snow Leopard Tabaxi. Standing five feet tall, she has light grey fur with the typical black markings of her tribe. She also sports long dark brown hair, descending in waves across her shoulders and back. Bright purple cat eyes liven up her face, her pupils dynamically changing shape with the light - from small slights to wide circles.
She appears lean and agile. Though not physically muscular, her legs can carry her far and quickly. Her body can twist in ways most others cannot, her flexibility allowing her a multitude of ways to run, fight, escape, and capture others.

Identifying Characteristics

Elisa always wears her family ring on her left thumb. The ring itself is made of gold, with the Snow Leopard crest engraved into the metal.

Special abilities

Ricochet - The ability to fire a projectile (arrow) from a bow against surfaces and hit additional targets.

Apparel & Accessories

Due to her years on the run, Elisa has forgone the fancy clothing she once had in Catthorn Ridge and opted to wear clothing suitable for quick travel, quick getaways, and the occasional unavoidable battle. She currently wears a spring dress, purchased from the capital of Lamorak, imbued with two magical properties, studded leather armor and boots, and a black cloak with silver inlay (in an attempt to pass as Venandi). She occasionally sports her spring sunhat, with a beautiful white flower as decoration.

Specialized Equipment

Elisa is most proficient with a bow. Her current bow is that of Elven make, a shortbow that has proven its worth to her countless times.
She can also comfortable use small daggers in each hand, or a rapier.
In regards to tools, Elisa has become a master in thieve's tools, specifically lockpicking. She can also properly use forgery equipment, allowing her to falsify documents if necessary. Despite her ability to do so, Elisa primarily uses her parchment and ink for noble purposes, such as letter writing and note keeping.

Personal history

Born to Jameson and Leandra Denner, Elisa lived as an only child in the Denner Estate, located in the Denner Mountains. Elisa was kept safe at the Estate her entire life, having been forbidden to leave the grounds. Not once did she question her parents, knowing they had her best interests at heart, and understanding that their family's bloodline came with its unique circumstances.
On her thirteenth birthday, officially recognized as part of the Royal Court, her parents took her to Cattharn for the first time. As this was Elisa's first appearance outside of the Estate, many traveled that day to witness the princess in person. By small fortune, Elisa met her future husband Flynn that fateful day at the capital.
Each year since, Elisa attended court with her parents and was afforded small liberties, such as meeting Flynn in the Garden District, under surveillance. She and Flynn developed their own coded language in which they communicated with through mail - thinking they were sneaky and undiscovered, however their families knew what was happening. Eventually, both families, King Denner, and the court agreed to the engagement of Elisa and Flynn, with their wedding to be held upon reaching of age.
Such a day would never come, as King Denner died suddenly and the throne taken by King Denner II. Instantly, Elisa's world fell apart, as her parents disappeared, her Estate burned to the ground, Flynn's family and farms attacked... Flynn and Elisa married in secret, a month before their official wedding and reaching of age. That very same day, Elisa fled Catthorn Ridge, leaving everything behind.

Education

Homeschooled primarily by her mother, Elisa knows much about the history of Catthorn Ridge, its people, its resources and trade, its neighbors... She was educated with purpose - to one day lead Catthorn.
Elisa also had access to many differing tutors at the Estate. She learned how to ride a horse for sport, combat, and for leisure. She was trained in archery and dual weapon combat (though she prefers the bow).
Due to her lack of arcane capabilities, her education in the arcane arts was strictly with books and nothing practical.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Year 1187

During Elisa's years on the run, she ended up in a strange town known as Knoburry, in time for their Harvest Festival. Allowing herself a short reprise, she joined the festivities alongside fellow adventurers. The festival quickly fell into ruin, with food coming to life and attacking the people. She, along with the adventurers, found the source of the magic, a strange chimera known as the Turkilisk. Together with the help of the adventurers, Elisa dispatched the beast, ending the magic, and saving both the festival and the entire town. It was also during this fateful encounter that Elisa was awarded a wish, which she used without hesitation to bring back a fallen adventurer.

Year 1188 - March

Though Elisa's name will never be tied to the succession of the Lamorian throne, she not only witnessed the events but aided in securing the foreign's kingdom future under a worthy queen. Her presence there has refueled her desire, her motivation, to return to Catthorn Ridge and secure her own kingdom's future.

Year 1188 - April

Traveling back to Catthorn Ridge, Elisa witnessed first hand the horrors that Caix unleashed on her kingdom. With the help of the Sworn Seven, she vanquished Caix and expelled the Venandi from Catthorn Ridge. In the process, she managed to free her parents, but Flynn was no where to be found. Immediately, she began working to dismantle the arenas and watchtowers built by Caix and use the materials to rebuild the capital, cities, and villages, as well as construct a monument honoring all the lives lost during Caix's reign.

Year 1188 - May

On a rescue mission to save Flynn, the Sword Seven traveled across the seas to Brigantia. In an incredibly intense battle, Elisa and her friends successfully vanquished the The Venandi and rescued Flynn from execution.

Failures & Embarrassments

Running away, as instructed by her parents, is her biggest failure. She has left millions to wither and die under the hands of a tyrant boy king, and fled only thinking about her life and her family's wishes.

Mental Trauma

Elisa suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Her drastic life-changing events have pitted her against death itself. Cruel and unrelenting events have forced her mind to the deepest pits of despair, haunting her dreams in the forms of nightmares (Acute Stress Disorder). The nightmares never cease - some days are better than others - and the passing of time only solidifies her stress into potential flashbacks during her waking hours.
While her PTSD may never truly heal, she has been advised to achieve peace within herself through the elimination of the stressors in her life.

Morality & Philosophy

Elisa attempts to believe in the bigger picture. While her actions may not be holistically good-natured all the time, she believes her actions will eventually bring about the good.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Aptitudes: As a Tabaxi, she is a natural climber and highly aware of her surroundings. Her years on the run have enabled her to master archery and to learn a few tricks of the trade - lockpicking and stealthing. Talented with languages and handwriting, giving her an edge in forging documents.
Ineptitudes: Despite being well-educated, Elisa has no understanding of the arcane and little knowledge regarding religious matters. She also developed a lack of trusting others, whether strangers or long time friends, due to repeated assassination attempts on her life. Lastly, being sheltered at the Estate has stunted her growth as a public speaker.

Likes & Dislikes

Likes: Elisa enjoys reading, writing, archery, horseback-riding, mountain climbing, and resting in fields of flowers. Dislikes: Elisa dislikes cooking, has a hatred for broccoli, brussel sprouts, being interrupted, usurpers, singing.

Personality Quirks

Elisa has a bad habit of playing with her bag straps when she is anxious or nervous about the near future. Generally, it has something to do with her potential death and what that means for her kingdom, her parents, and Flynn.

Hygiene

Growing up at the Denner Estate has afforded Elisa proper hygiene, both of her own self and her surroundings. The maids at the Estate welcomed Elisa whenever she wanted to learn how to properly clean dishes, wash clothes, dust rooms, etc. To this day, Elisa keeps her stations, no matter where she is, clean and well-kept.
Her personal hygiene may be occasionally overlooked due to her nature of traveling on the road.

George Yates

An elderly snow leopard fisherman living in Port Neige. Elisa knows him through Flynn. George helped Elisa sneak back into Catthorn Ridge relatively undetected and provided her with significant information of what is happening to her beloved home. Elisa also learned that George had a son, who perished in the arena.

Victor Roth

Seller of cloth and dyes, known through family. Leandra frequently bought clothing from this man. Elisa has met him on the occasion in the past.

Athel Allows

Elisa's personal maid back at the Denner Estate. Athel played a key role in raising and educating Elisa.

Family Ties

Prince Jameson Denner

Father to Elisa, he is the elder brother to the late King Denner. Originally first in line to the throne upon his father's passing, Jameson fell in love with a woman not approved by the royal court. Electing to follow his heart and not an arranged fate, he relinquished his right to the throne and married the woman he loved.
Jameson is a kind man, now in his late forties. His pale grey fur has begun to turn white with age. He works diligently to see Port Neige bloom under his leadership, and to keep his family strong and safe. He is well liked in the capital and all throughout Catthorn Ridge, despite him turning his back on the throne itself.

Princess Leandra Denner

Mother to Elisa, she is a beautiful snow leopard, born in the mountains themselves. At an early age, her parents gave up their mountain home for a chance at a more prosperous life in Port Neige. The fishing community of Port Neige in present day is thanks to Leandra and her family, helping build small boats and fishing material.
Leandra caught the eye of Jameson during one of his visits to the port. She was covered in grime from repairing a boat out on the docks and something about the way she held herself struck Jameson. Originally, she wanted nothing to do with him - despite growing affections - as she knew full well he was promised to another much more important leopard than herself.

King Raphael Denner

Elisa's uncle, Jameson's younger brother. He was a quiet man, kept to himself mostly. It was a well-known fact that her uncle had not wanted the throne, and the position of king was thrust upon him much to his disdain when his brother opted for love over power. Despite this, he ruled just and fair and was generally liked throughout the kingdom. He never took on a wife.

Flynn Belton Amaryllis

Childhood friend and now husband to Elisa. A handsome golden-furred, green-eyed Lion. Strong and loyal, Flynn Amaryllis has always and will always stand by Elisa's side, through thick and thin. Currently the only person she fully trusts - how she wishes to be reunited with him.

Hobbies & Pets

Elisa used to have a personal horse, named Toots. He was a beautiful Falabella horse, with a primarily white coat with black spots.

History

Flynn and Elisa first met when he filled in for her family's gardener when he fell ill, at eleven years of age. They would meet occasionally when Elisa went to court, but he did not approach her for the first two years. At first, their correspondence was primarily through letters. A few months prior to Caix's taking the throne, Flynn asked her to marry him.
