Glenwood State
Shadow Republic
Glenwood State is almost anarchic in how limited the ruling by Governor Bell has been. Mostly interested in Fairmount Park and the adjacent zoo, the urban environments are only maintained as necessary.Practical management of the parts of the State outside of the park is left almost entirely to the sheriff, Ivan Fotev, who is rather young for one of his position.
State Laws
Feeding: All kindred may feed on any unclaimed territory outside of Fairmount Park.
Havens: Havens may be established freely outside of Fairmount Park.
Disciplines: No restrictions save the laws of the Shadow Republic.
Fairmount Park: Only members of Gangrel may move freely within Fairmount Park. All others must attain permission, possibly from the Sheriff.
Hunting Park Neighborhood
Glenwood State includes the Hunting Park Neighborhood. The Hunting Park Neighborhood and its connected Hunting Park are given to a group of mainly Bone Gnawer garou. They act as an informal messenger to the garou tribes of the valley. Officially, Hunting Park Neighborhood is a Shadow Republic Dependency, with the Garou members being Recognized by the Shadow Republic. They only extremely rarely use the privileges afforded them but has at times depended on the Courts to settle disagreements with kindred. The point of contact for the Garou is Teme.Philadelphia
Glenwood State incorporates the Upper North Philadelphia District as well as the Fairmount Park. Upper North Philadelphia is a section of Philadelphia that is immediately north of Lower North Philadelphia, and can be described as an area that has a "...large and rapidly growing Puerto Rican population".
According to the planning commission, Upper North Philadelphia officially consists of the Allegheny West, Fairhill, Glenwood, Hunting Park, and Nicetown-Tioga neighborhoods. Bounded by York Street to the south, Front Street to the east, Roosevelt Expressway to the north, and Ridge Avenue to the west.
Fairmount Park is the largest municipal park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the historic name for a group of parks located throughout the city. Fairmount Park consists of two park sections named East Park and West Park, divided by the Schuylkill River, with the two sections together totalling 2,052 acres (830 ha). Management of Fairmount Park and the entire citywide park system is overseen by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, a city department created in 2010 from the merger of the Fairmount Park Commission and the Department of Recreation.
