New Avon
New Avon is a popular galactic trading hub on the GS Southern side of Krasian Territories in the Rim. It is a common pass-through point for many traders on both coming and going into the Meritocracy.
The planet is arid but terraformed, has a red sky from its sun, a blue and red ring circling it, and a thin atmosphere leading to a slower and methodical way of life for its residents. The planet is guarded by a combination of 3 major Trade corporations, though an embassy from the Krasian Meritocracy does exist on opposite the spaceport.

For the majority of New Avon's colonization, 3 major Transportation Corporations made up the primary defense and governorship of the planet. Bua-Hio Multinational Transport held the greatest investment in New Avon Starport but allowed a joint partnership to offset the cost of maintenance and defense.Syndicate Occupation (2:2352-5:2352)
After the Star Forge's tragedy in early 2352, each of the transportation corporations that made up the primary hub and defense of New Avon began to pull their resources back into their more defensible hubs nearer to the Allied Terran Systems and Krasian Territories. This left a power vacuum on New Avon that was quickly filled by the Hausaga Syndicate. Captain Raldy of the Syndicate moved his ship, Broken Chrysanthemum, into orbit after the planetary defenses had been relocated. His thugs began to drain local businesses and towns of their food and currency with no real option for the villagers beyond open violence. The majority of the residents found it far easier to simply submit to the demands than risk their lives for a few credits.Krasian Occupation (5:2352-)
After the Krasian Conquest began in 2352, New Avon was a desirable target both due to its lack of planetary defenses and the richness of the terraformed planet. Krasian forces quickly overcame the nominal resistance and formed their Occupation. Only two holdout resistance groups remain, the New Avon Resistance (led by Willy the Wisp) and the less combative New Avon Underground (led by Nathaniel Scoxand).Aspects
