The Index

The Index appeared seemingly overnight, just when the Aeolus Metropolitan Police new super computer for fighting organized crime came on line. It was a strange coincidence, but nothing more than that.

The computer, a brand new DaKu 5000, proved to be useless in fighting crime, merely cataloguing the various criminal organizations in the city.

Meanwhile the mysterious Darius Quentin appeared out of nowhere and formed the Index which made a register over all the criminal organizations in the city and brought most of them in under one roof, as it were.

The Aeolus Metropolitan Police, which was one of the most corrupt police forces in the galaxy became part of the Index.
