Strait of Amyclas

A body of water between the two major continents, Eurydice and Tiasa, on Lacedaemon. The planet capital, Taygete, stands on either side of the strait, so the inhabitants of the city lives on two different continents. The people on the Eurydice side tend to think that they’re better than those on the Thiasa side, because Mt. Eurotas, with the Royal Palace of Lacedaemon, is on their side of the strait. The people on the Thiasa side thinks that the people on the other side are conceited and full of themselves. There’s a number of islands near the shore, that are part of the city and they think the mainlanders on both sides are idiots.
