Royal Palace of Lacedaemon
The Royal Palace of Lacedaemon sits on top of Mt. Eurotas, overlooking the capital city, Taygete.
The palace brings to mind the palace at Knossos, when that palace still stood.
Forcefields surrounds the palace, not just for defense, but primarily to keep the air pressure to the equivalent of sea level, and also the temperature to where you can walk around in shorts and a T-shirt in the palace garden, and not have to wear a breathing apparatus. The palace being at the top of an 11,000 meters tall mountain makes it necessary to either have a breathing apparatus or a force field that keeps the air pressure up.
Architecture
It’s similar in style and layout to the Palace at Knossos, on the island Crete in the Greek archipelago on Earth, except this palace still stands.
