Armada

The Armada is a spelljamming vessel built and used by the Imperial Elven Navy (IEN). It is the largest of all known IEN ships and often serves as the command vessel for elven fleets.
Similar to the other vessels of the IEN, possession of an Armada by non-IEN factions or races is punishable by death, both for the user of the Armada and the one who supplied it to them.

Description

Like other IEN spelljamming vessels, the Armada resembled a butterfly, formed as it was from the fruit of the starfly. However, it's upper wings were straightened and strengthened to serve as landing pads for Flitters.

Weapons & Armament

As the backbone of the IEN fleet, Armadas boast impressive defensive capabilities, supporting multiple heavy ballistas, catapults, and jettisons in addition to a large contingent of onboard soldiers, archers, and Flitters.

Armor and defense

Armadas that have been modified to serve as command centers for fleets have their traditional lodgings and weapon bays replaced with citadels that house the fleet admiral and their command staff. These fortresses often serve as military centers for allies to discuss strategies or to host talks with nuetral or enemy factions.

Hangars & docked vessels

The upper wings of the Armada typically hold up to 40 Flitters, only 5 of which are ever powered at any one time, save for emergency circumstances.
