Mähakama

Mähakama was a kingdom that existed before the Forest took over. It was landlocked, and bounded in by Lake Taiha to the west, Lake Joemua to the east, Lakes Pauvahäs and Olla to the south, and Lake Jondush to the north. In its heart was Lake Meilla.   Several gold mines in this area formed the primary source of Mähakama's wealth, although with iasite and lumber.   Mähakama collapsed after the Forest spread through the region. The queen attempted to hold out and turn the capital into a sanctuary, but uhaaki managed to scale the walls, penetrate the city, and turn it over to the forest.   Mähaken survivors built a new community on the islands in Lake Meilla. Two princes with territory on the islands in Lake Taiha broke away from the fallen state and eventually merged with a prince from Maunia to create the new nation of Haikella on the islands in Lake Taiha.
