Lake Olla
Lake Olla is a large lake in southern Veiama, historically part of the Kingdom of Kaleina. In the Pre-Forest era, it was on the northeast edge of the kingdom, but it was the destination of the exodus and is now the kingdom's core.
It is a vast lake peppered with dozens of small islands. The largest island, Fiankuan, is the economic and cultural heart of Kaleina and holds the kingdom's capital, Fiana. Lake Olla is connected to the sea by the Olla River, which is the Veiama lake system's primary artery to the sea. In the early days of the Forest, when ships still came in to Port Hope from afar, all goods travelling in or out of Veiama had to pass through Lake Olla to get there.
Lake Olla is both a geographic term and a synonym for the Olla Region of Kaleina. Far North Olla refers to the smaller lake attached to the make body of Olla via a small strait, with a handful of islands.
