Known History of the Elvasha

It was said during the time of conflicts of the ever-expanding empire in wars with the other races, rather than fighting them all, a treaty known as the Compact of Unity was founded to allow these races to join the empire and, in return, have been given rights and be allowed to live their way of life within their borders. But in times of war, they would be called upon to help defend the empire when needed.

The first records of the Beastmen arriving in the Western Lands appear as refugees from the Eastern Lands that had been slowly dying and turning into a great desert that forced many of them to travel the harsh terrain of The Spine only to arrive in the west to start over.

With the war with the Beastmen no longer in their favor and their people being slaughtered at every turn, many were forced to leave their homeland in the hopes of finding better lands to rebuild their civilization as thousands of ships set out to sea in search of it.

For the first time in their history, Elves being to develop the ability to use magic for the first time and are able to master it at a rapid pace as they use it in advancing their civilization.

The result of the Awakening caused the Elves of the Continent to alter and change no longer being a single race and were split into several instead. This would resulting a continual split of the once united people as they dispersed and divided into own domains. They would also lose their immortality as result as Elvasha culture begins to fade away.

The Elusah language is no longer the Elves' primary language, splintered into several new ones, and becomes a dead language with few being able to read it.
