The Ambershard Dwarves

The Ambershard dwarves are the dwarves live and rule over the Tumult's mountain region. They deal with the mineral wealth and metalworks of Tumult. They also have a hand in the cosmic sugar trade. They are staunchly opposed to the Bludgeon Halls, seeing that their industry messes with the Ambershard's monopoly. Tumult likes the competition though, so the Ambershards gripes are mostly ignored. The Ambershards are also key players in the arms market, with the head of the family working at building some powerful weapons.

History

When the Lich King Bedrich took his throne, the Ambershards initially opposed his arrival. They secretly hold out for better leadership. First, it was the prospect of the bastard prince Lairus, as a newcomer would probably be easier to control. They even gave Lairus the blueprints for great weapons for safe keeping. Nowadays, Lady Mirabel has taken that place as a better leader.
