Underneath the city of Miskatonic is a vast tunnel network of sewers, catacombs, warehouses, bunkers, maintenance tunnels and more. All these underground structures serve many uses but have created many other issues. The Vast tunnel network has become a city itself  some say that Miskatonic is two cities an upper city and lower city.
