Carnival of Flesh
Underneath the Big top the Freaks provide a far darker form of entertainment for paying customers.
Design
The Carnival of Flesh lies beneath the Big top entertainment center in the tunnels and catacombs under Miskatonic city. Much of the structure is a large opium den. There are also a few long hallways with many doors where the customers can take there victims to be used for other things that should not be spoken of.
There are also three large structures that are connected to the main area, these dungeon like areas are part of Miskatonic city's underground that have been forgotten of and that the freaks have converted into themed dungeons of the death games.
Entries
Behind the Big top there is a dark alley with an unremarkable metal door if you knock and know the password and pay the door man a small fee you will be let in.
Tourism
The Big top entertainment center is a front for the Freaks darker and illegal business interests. The Freaks use the Carnival of flesh to sell hard drugs and much of the structure is a large drug den, however that is in no way close to the true horror of what the Carnival of flesh is used for. The Freaks kidnap people to sell them in the Carnival of Flesh where the customers can buy victims and just kill them or put them through elaborate methods of murder in a fun, carnival atmosphere.
The Freaks also organize death games in one of three dungeons that are themed in some way and where the Freaks trap victims and customers pay to watch if they die or make it through. The "contestants" that have to go through the death game are almost never there willingly, most are either forced inside and are given basic weapons and tools to give them a small chance of getting through to make the game more interesting. Or the "contestants" unknowingly wander inside or are tricked into going inside sometimes being mercenary exterminators hunting pest monsters or are urban explorers who are wandering the underground.
Almost every "contestant" that competes in the Freaks death games do not make it out alive but the few who have after finding their way out of one of the Freak's Dungeon find a large chest of money and valuables to reward them for playing. For this reward sometimes very foolish or crazy individuals willingly enter one of the dungeons to compete in the death games.
