Corleone Town
Demographics
The majority of the population are very poor and only live in the underground slum out of necessity as the Undergrounds is the least expensive place to live in Miskatonic. This is the same in Corleone as well as most living here do so having no other choice.
Government
The neighborhood is totally controlled by the Falcone crime family. The Miskatonic underground is largely ignored by the city's police so in Corleone the Falcone family calls the shots. Lacking anyone else to do the job, the Falcone crime gang is basically city hall. They organize waste collection, recruit a volunteer fire department, keep order in the cramp tunnels and alleyways even pay to take care of elderly residents. In Corleone it is the Falcone crime family's soldiers and associates that patrol the tunnels and alleyways not the police. But still, the Falcone family are still a crime gang. While they might fulfil some basic social functionsn the Falcone family still see and uses this underground neighborhood as a business interest. All residents pay protection to the Falcones and the Falcone crime family has filled this underground neighborhood with their clubs and other businesses.
Defences
The underground is usually the most dangerous part of Miskatonic city, being a hiding place of criminals, and all kinds of creatures that live in the city's sewers, and catacombs. However, Corleone town is one of the safer places in the Miskatonic underground, the Falcone's pay a lot to keep their business interest safe.
Industry & Trade
All the residents don't pay taxes instead they pay protection fees to the Falcone family.
Most of the people living in Corleone town are either working for the Falcone family or paying off a debt the Falcones.
Much of the industry are sweat shops owned by the Falcone family that people make clothing that are sold in the above city and many breweries that make alcohol that is sold in Falcone taverns and clubs.
Tourism
Corleone is basically Misatonic city's red-light district. Many come down to pay a visit to one of Corleone's many clubs, taverns and other establishments.
