The Ogre Mage known only as Grier appeared in Addam twelve years ago with a plan, ambition, and an incredible amount of personal wealth. He put his money directly into the budding rail lines, building up the first high-speed means of travel and shipping from the the Capitol to the Frontier. He then turned that into the rail empire of Blueline Rails. Now he's pushing the expansion into the Great Desert. It's rumored he was the captain of a mercenary company that would do anything for enough money. He only grins quietly when asked about his past... as long as no one pushes. Few have been willing to push, especially after seeing what happened to those who did.
