Plant Nursery, Green Houses, and Moss Park
Where the Aetheria Tree's trunk bends, multiple stepped floors (or terraces) have been carved into her outer bark. Here, rolling fields of moss have been allowed to sprawl across the steps and the walls between. Small trees – or perhaps budding offspring of the Grand Aether Tree – grow scattered throughout the colorful moss. Within these smaller trees, the Aetheria Druids have constructed greenhouses and nurseries for a vast array of flowers, herbs, and other plants. Larger budded trees are used to house a single Aetheria fruit, which is transported down from the canopy far above.
Buzzburs. A constant cacophony of buzzing is often heard across the moss fields and adjacent parks. Massive bumblebee-like creatures wearing leather saddles buzz with each other as they wait leisurely for their next flight. Well trained, Buzzburs carry and Aetherian rider up to the canopy where they work together – with a total of 10 rider-Buzzbur duos – to collect a single Aetherian fruit. Relatively intelligent creatures and bad at sitting still, they will occasionally leave very simple messages for each other (and their riders) in the moss. These range from a simple "Hi" to random words a Buzzbur heard that day, such as "Pot" or "Butt". They are surprisingly good spellers.
