Hall of Seasons

Once a holy place and the bridge to the Courts of the Evads, the Hall of Seasons now feels more like a tomb. Within its walls and beneath its woven branch roof, the 4 Evads rest, bound tightly by their Seasonal Blight.

The Hall is located at the top of the massive Aetheria Tree's trunk where the first major branches begin to split. The roof has been constructed by intricate, delicate, and detailed Aetheria weaving, whereby portions of the tree's vasculature have been crisscrossed overhead to create swirling patterns through which light cascades in. The walls were once decorated with mosaics and murals depicting the seasonal scenery, the Evads, the Aetheria trees, and the broader Aetherian people; Now, they are covered in darkened knots of blighted vine. Portions of the floor have also been consumed by the blighted vine, particularly near the wooden "beds" upon which the Evads rest. The blighted vine has crawled up to the ceiling where it has pried itself free, cascading down and wrapping around the exterior of the Grand Aether in a visible, darkened ring.

Each of the Evads have been encased in a cocoon of blighte vine, three of which have a skull contained somewhere within their writhing mass, resting near their associated spirit. The Summer Blight, however, is missing its skull. From what little is visible within the intensely dense cocoon, each of the four Evads are intensely cracked. Without the blighted vine restraining them to their original form, the may have shattered and broken. Chasca is cocooned securely, but one of her arms reaches towards Eden as bits of her fall away; the vines failing to wrap around her wrist and hand. Eden is curled into a tight ball, while Saffra is spralwed as if she fell without a care. Vale lies prepared for death with arms crossed, his mask off kilter enough to expose cracking along his jawline. If one watches closely, they can see the blighted vine breathe... shallowly... as if fading.
