Aetheria Ballroom
For those who enjoy the finer things in life, look no further than the Aetheria Ballroom. This grand, three-story great hall features elegant arched terraces lined with bouquets and woven strings of flowers in bloom, a grand staircase that swirls up to the second and third story, and a detailed chandelier made of antler, bone, and wood embellished with autumn iconography: berries, leaves, and harvests. From a hole in the ceiling (obscured by the massive chandelier), sap from the Grand Aetheria Tree flows in a thin, but steady stream. It cascades down the chandelier to the floor below, where it accumulates upon a three-tiered "fountain". For those who desire sweeter drinks (or to merely get high on Aetheria itself), cups are kept nearby for anyone to partake.
In the past, the Aetheria Ballroom was used to host formal gatherings for visitors and ambassadors from across the continent. Today, it is primarily used as a general lounge for Aetherians in need of relaxation and reprieve in moderation (as compared to the reckless revelry of the Watering Grove). The Aetheria weavers have carved out nooks across the second and third story where booths, cushioned with moss, have been arranged. Curtains of strung nuts and carved wooden beads can be drawn closed if a greater degree of privacy is desired. Music often plays from the first floor where couples, friends, and family will dance.

Leifosaurus Leif (Lef-Lefs). If one pays close attention, you might notice a couple leaves carefully crawling across the walls or attempting to drift nonchalantly to their new chosen resting spot. Leifosaurus Leifs – commonly called Lef-Lefs – are tiny creatures that, like Aetherians, experience the seasons. Spring, Summer, and Fall Lef-Lefs exhibit brilliant leaf-like plumage that allows them to glide and drift, but not fully fly. They are, however, excellent climbers. Winter Lef-Lefs lose their plumage and descend to the base of the Aetheria tree where they burrow until their final rest calls them. Lef-Lefs are notorious for loving gossip and music, hence they tend to linger here.
