Forest Kobold

Forest kobolds dwell within thickets, forests, and jungles, and where civilization has not touched for millennia. They are the most dextrous of all kobolds, and unrivaled climbers, able to navigate dense, thorny undergrowths and thick tree roots with ease.   Despite the reputation kobolds have for crafting their warrens within caves, forest kobolds instead choose to carve their homes from wood high up within dense tree canopies, weaving networks of makeshift rope bridges between large branches, and crafting small nest-like huts from leaves and foliage. Forest kobolds worship emerald dragons and green dragons, frequently creating their treetop villages around their lairs.   Forest kobolds are renowned for their druidic practices, be it through the weaving of poisonous brambles inspired by the breath of a green dragon, or the cultivation of beautiful groves, inspired by the presence of an emerald dragon.   Tribes of forest kobolds will often be guided by a small collective of powerful druids that serve as tribal elders.
