The Heartlands of Banteave hold the richest farmland, strong flowing rivers, bustling towns and pleasant woodlands rife with game.
Geography
The temperate Heartland is rife with verdant meadows, lush forests, rolling rivers and gentle hills. Winters are generally milder here than the rest of Banteave.
Natural Resources
The ground in the Heartlands is among the most fertile in all of Banteave. A great many farms, ranches and orchards can be found dotting the countryside. Many are owned by peasant families who eke out enough to feed themselves and sell the extra at the market to cover their expenses. Other minor counts will own country estates, where they can fund the production of cash crops.
Timber is also plentiful within the Heartland, and lumber camps work tirelessly to fell the trees that are then used to construct many of the buildings in Banteave.

The Heartlands were once exclusively held by the Antari Highlander until the arrival of Alaric Bantevar and the Invasion of the Norvalled Raiders .
