Ronan Algodro

This tall, built Human man displays luxuriously thick, smooth, blonde hair with an equally impressive beard to match, all of this despite the wrinkles of age beginning to show on his face. He wears regal breastplate armor with many religious symbols etched throughout the piece, one for each of the known deities in The First Civilization's Pantheon . He also wears a long, majestic cape that, when looked upon closely, bears a patched-in symbol for every known religion represented by The Theologists Guild of Krakonia (TGK), which is to say, a lot of symbols. He always carries with him a thick, metallic book with the main symbol of the First Civilization's Pantheon on its cover, but is otherwise untitled. In addition to all the symbols he chooses to portray on himself, there is one other symbol thrusted upon him, that of the Black Kraken Arbiter's Mark right on the center of his forehead. He carries himself with dignity and discipline, but beneath this hardened visual exterior is a man with a gentle, calm demeanor.

Ronan Algodro is a first-generation-born human after The Dawn first introduced the race into Requerm, born mere months after the founding of Krakonia City to two refugees seeking haven in the new settlement. In his early life, he was fascinated with the tales that The Harbingers of the Rising Dawn discovered about The First Civilization, and in particular the mythology that came with that ancient culture. He took it upon himself to fervently delve into any research he could find in the city, asking any adventurers he could speak to about anything they'd learned about the topic, and reading any adventuring logs or scholarly articles that had a scrap of information about it. Over time he concluded that even though the First Civilization was gone, the deities they worshipped must still have influence in the world around them. Whether this conclusion truly had any merit, or if it was simply something he desperately wished was true, he did not know. What he did know was that he was only going to learn so much holed up within the safety of the city, and that in order to gain a true connection to the First Civilization's Pantheon, and satisfy his lust for lore, he would have to explore Requerm himself. Unfortunately for him, he came to this conclusion shortly after the beginning of The Unification Wars, at the age of 15, so he struggled with deciding between working on his own personal passion project or keeping his parents' minds at ease in the city. Eventually he managed to convince them to let him go, and he set off on his own adventure to discover the truth behind Requerm divinity, after enlisting the help of several adventurers he promised his parents would help keep him safe on his travels.

Several years into his pilgrimage, Algodro came home, having concluded that the best way to truly understand one's place in the grand order would be to place himself at the cusp of life and death, where life's truths are the least obscured. Fortunately for him, The Unification Wars were still raging on, so he enlisted himself into the Krakonian Military so that he could be on the front lines as a combat medic, all the while continuing his research into the divine. After watching enough people die while citing their deities in their final breaths, he expanded his goals into learning about all the different faiths in Requerm, finding it increasingly difficult to believe that such powerful faith on multiple sides of the conflict could have such different roots with differing levels of truth. While still believing in the First Civilization's Pantheon, gaining his own divine power from his personal beliefs, he managed to find ways to allow room for other religions from other worlds to coexist, finding common ground between the many different soldiers he fought alongside during the war.

Having spent enough time on the frontlines throughout the war, Algodro found a niche as a healer that could also fight for himself. He eventually gained a name for himself as a war hero, protecting his allies while punishing his enemies, which eventually earned him enough accolades to gain the attention of Krakonian leadership. The ex-Harbingers in particular noticed his achievements, having recognized him as the young child that used to incessantly ask them question after question about their adventures back in Krakonia City before the war. They established a new, more professional relationship during the war, and when it came time to establish a new form of government post-war, the newfound King Daerius Quintus of Krakonia had little reason to deny his most religious ally the position of Leader of the TGK, where Algodro could best apply his decades of research to the community.

Algodro now spends his days monitoring the Guild's ever-changing stances on the many different, conflicting religions that citizens of The Kingdom of Krakonia believe in. He is as diligent as he is studious, always researching every minute angle of every religion he can learn about, making him the top theologist in the kingdom. While he has trained many guild members on his many mediation techniques, he still often intervenes directly when conflicts become dire enough, doing his best to allow for any religious practices so long as they do not directly interfere with the well-being of the citizens of Krakonia that do not believe in the same religion.
