The Anthropoids

Rumors have begun to circulate from several different sources concerning a new abomination being unleashed upon the Great Dust Bowl. Seeking to create a hybrid of flesh and steel, Zander Drake has been working on a solution with some freshly discovered technology curtesy of The Robco Liberation Army. Most of these cybernetically altered humans appear to be prototypes, as there are few cases of specific designs being repeated and many designs that do show up again have received significant overhauls. What is known is that an influx of refugees have been making their way to Undercity to escape the RLA's recent expansion. What unnerves the First Citizens Council the most is that although leaving no survivors in their wake is not new behavior, not leaving the bodies behind is. Many speculated that the RLA was recruiting a new slave force, or trafficking the settlers to Corvega City in exchange for funding. With the emergence of the Anthropoids however, it seems a much darker fate perhaps lies in store for those that fall victim to the rapidly growing terrorist cell.
