Minister's Council

Structure

The Minister's Council is made up of the First Minister, and three other Mecks they elect to lead the 3 remaining Departments. There are 3 levels of responsibility within the Council, based on which Minister title one holds.

First Minister

The Head of State and Government for MECC. They hold near executive power, only needing a simple majority from the Council, to push through any new law or policy. Their ballots count for 5 during Council voting sessions.
They are elected every 5 years by the Minister's Council.

Second Minister

The Second Minister is the right-hand of the First Minister. The handle tasks the First can't finish in their day, as well as more direct issues with Mecks. The Second Minister also serves as the propaganda mouthpiece of the Council.
Their ballots count for 3 votes.

Third Minister

The two Third Ministers were the bottom of the Council. Their ballots counted as a single vote, and they were tasked with overseeing their Departments and keeping order.

History

Post-Storm

Victor St-Martin created the Minister's Council when he wrote the MECC Charter of Responsilbities. While offically the Council serves to lead the Nation, its true purpose is to ensure the First Minister has absolute power.
They hold their meetings in the The William Saunders Building at the MECC Compound.
