Eraleon Acosaphaura (Eh-RAHL-ee-on Ah-KO-sah-FOW-rah)
Eraleon was the husband of thirty-five years of Devatska Acosaphaura, and a prominent member of the Acosaphaura family of the Etir tribe of Kiva. He had a twin brother, Gehrqo, and a baby sister, Maetes; his parents were Carabal and Nera Acosaphaura. He was known as imposing in stature but loyal, generous, and kind-hearted; his bravery was matched only by that of his wife.
He was one of many in a long line of talented Acosaphaura, though by no means its most notable in either koza-riding or marksmanship. Nonetheless he enjoyed a solid pseudo-military career prior to the War of the Six and served as an Eba-ranked Razakir alongside his son Nelos and his peer Pyda Halbejan. When Hezath Zalesper called the kega, it was the voice of Devatska -- through Eraleon's -- that swayed the Etir into siding with the Pact of the Blessèd rather than the Violet Accord, for better or worse. They relocated to Crau-Dainis in the Season of Waiting 985AC.
He was killed the day before the Charge of the Martyrs in mysterious circumstances and his body dragged back to Devatska astride his aflame koza. His death, perhaps even moreso than that of their sons, broke Devatska's world.
